In July 2006 it was a rainy morning and the owner took his 1986 5.0 LX to get inspected by a "buddy" that would pass it with tires not having much tread. Long story short it started raining hard on his way home from getting the inspection. About 3 miles from home he started sliding all over the place. He came around a turn going up a hill and dropped her down to 4th and backend just came around before he could even think, the Mustang went across the road, though the ditch, across the muddy field and hit the only pole in the field. Driver was going 50 mph. Everthing turned out ok.
